THE SUMMER SHAKESPEARE TOUR
THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, DIRECTED BY ROB FORKNALL
The Hazlitt and Changeling will be twinkling this summer with their tenth outdoor Shakespeare!
Welcome…
The West End comes to Earl Street, and Musical Theatre Jessies all over our beautiful borough should shake their lallies and get their tushies down to the Hazlitt to see Claire Sweeney in Tell Me On a Sunday.
This heralds the start of a bumper season which includes great drama with Sherlock Holmes’ Last Act, and The Crucible, great music with Marty Wilde and Bon Jovi, and great comedy with our regular Comedy Night on the first Wednesday of each month. Then to finish off 2010 in style we have our wonderful Pantomime 'Beauty and the Beast' starring Melissa Suffield from EastEnders and Ben Freeman from Emmerdale.

The Hazlitt Choir is ready and raring to go…….but there’s still room for more keen singers! No experience necessary. There will be a small informal performance in December. We will be singing pieces from light popular and classical music and, of course, musical theatre! We know you would expect no less! We have an experienced musical director who will help usthrough some of the trickier numbers and have already run a hugely successful taster session where we were overwhelmed with the positive response! Today Maidstone, tomorrow the Royal Albert Hall!
